How we work
-
Answer first
Every article answers the main question in the first sentences and lists the key facts before going into depth.
-
Evidence, not claims
Recommendations rest on guidelines and studies from peer-reviewed journals. Every source is linked and was retrieved during review.
-
Honest about limits
We say what can be assessed by video, when an in-person examination is needed and when to call emergency services.
Who writes and reviews
Every article names the responsible physician, the date of the last medical review and its sources.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who writes the articles in the OpenClinic24 health guide?
The articles are the responsibility of Adi Zoabi MD, a licensed physician at OpenClinic24. Name, qualification and review date appear in every article, the sources at the end.
Where do the sources come from?
From clinical guidelines, randomised trials and meta-analyses in journals such as NEJM, Lancet, BMJ or Nature Medicine, from review articles and from authorities such as the Robert Koch Institute or the Federal Joint Committee. Every study is linked by DOI and verified before publication.
Does the guide replace seeing a doctor?
No. The articles put symptoms into context, explain treatment options and show when a video consultation fits and when an in-person examination or emergency call is needed. A diagnosis is only made by a doctor in a personal consultation.
Which languages is the guide available in?
Every article is published in German, English, Turkish and Arabic with identical sources and review dates. Video consultations at OpenClinic24 are also possible in these languages, depending on the doctor available.
How current is the content?
Every article shows the date of the last medical review. We re-review at the latest after twelve months, earlier when new guidelines, studies or laws appear. The modification date changes only when the content actually changes.
Are the photos real?
No. Photos and short video loops are AI-generated illustrative images and show no real patients or doctors. This is noted on every image. The authors, by contrast, are real people.
